What is Multi-Seal?

Multi-Seal is a high-performance tire sealant used in foreign and domestic military vehicles, heavy construction equipment and over-the-road trucks worldwide. Unlike other tire sealants, the components of Multi-Seal do not separate at any tire rotation speed, ensuring the product will last the lifetime of the tire. Multi-Seal also protects the tire's steel belt and rims from rust and corrosion, helping protect your equipment and bottom line.

Multi-Seal is made up of a high-tech solution of synthetic fibers and fillers suspended in a carefully designed liquid. When a tire is punctured, the escaping air forces Multi-Seal into the opening, where the fibers cling to the sides of the puncture and form a “filter” which entraps the fillers. This forms a plug, sealing the leak instantly with very little air loss. As the tire flexes under load, the fiber/filler mass compresses, forming a dense and permanent plug. The process is the same whether or not the penetrating object stays in the tire, and will repeat itself for each additional puncture. Air loss caused by tire porosity (porous construction), as well as loss between the bead and the rim is sealed in a similar fashion. Multi-Seal will even seal pinhole leaks in rims.
